Maty`s readworks

WALT: read articles then write two or three sentences about the article.

It was hard to read the article.

It was fun to do them in pares.

It was easy to write sentences.

Next time i could write more.

I learned that Well, ecologists don’t mind getting dirty. Ecologists are scientists that study the relationships between living things and their environment. Ecologists know dirt is very important. I also learned that Consumers eat other plants and animals. As you can probably guess, squirrels are acorn consumers.

RESPECT

WALT: respect stuff and people.

It was hard to say what respect is.

It was easy to do them in pares.

Next time I could say more stuff.

Maty`s math word problem`s

WALT: create math word problems.

It was fun to do the math word problems in groups.

It was hard to do math word problems.

It was easy to do them in groups next time I could make them better.

Maty`s readworks

WALT: read an article the says what we learned.

I learned that it's fun to say what you learned.

I enjoyed doing it in groups.

I found it challenging to say what I learned.

Next time i will improve on doing a bit more writing.

I learned that “That’s the way it is there. The militias control the land. They’ll take a 9-year-old boy, put a gun to his head, and force him to dig up the coltan and haul it away,” says Snow. “It’s a slavery situation. They make sure no one steps out of line.” I also learned that The militias are brutalizing the girls they find in Congo’s villages too.

Maty`s readworks

WALT: read an article then write two things about what you learned here's mine.

I learned that it was hard to find what I learned.

I enjoyed doing them in our reading groups.

I found it challenging to read the article.

Next time I will improve on writing more.

I learned that Well, ecologists don’t mind getting dirty. Ecologists are scientists that study the relationships between living things and their environment. Ecologists know dirt is very important. I also learned that Consumers eat other plants and animals. As you can probably guess, squirrels are acorn consumers.

Maty math word problems

WALT: create our own word problems.
This week i created one math word problem.
It was fun to do them together.
It was hard to find the answer.
Next time i could work on doing more word problems.

Explanation

 The water cycle

liquid water is found in oceans, rivers, lakes—and even underground.

The water cycle is the path that all water follows as it moves around Earth in different states. The four-part water cycle are evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation

In an enclosed environment, a liquid will evaporate until the surrounding air is saturated. Evaporation is an essential part of the water cycle. ... Evaporation of water occurs when the surface of the liquid is exposed, allowing molecules to escape and form water vapor; this vapor can then rise up and form clouds.

Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation from aerial parts, such as leaves, stems, and flowers. Water is necessary for plants but only a small amount of water taken up by the roots is used for growth and metabolism. The remaining 97–99.5% is lost by transpiration and guttation.

Condensation is the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid water. ... These clouds may produce precipitation, which is the primary route for water to return to the Earth's surface within the water cycle. Condensation is the opposite of evaporation.

Precipitation is water released from clouds in the form of rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, or hail. It is the primary connection in the water cycle that provides for the delivery of atmospheric water to the Earth. Most precipitation falls as rain.

Each year the world is using 9,087 billion cubic meters of water per year. That's a lot of water that's getting used each year.

Humans are creating a problem by making lots and lots of plastic and polluting the water. Also killing sea life by making plastic and its blowing into the sea and the fish think its food and eat it and die.

China uses 362 trillion gallons of water every year that`s the most in the world that gets used in one year per country.

Now you know how much water the world uses per year and how the water cycle works and the three different steps. The end.

WALT: do an Explanation for our tests coming up.

I learned that doing more explaining is better than not.

I enjoyed finding the picture.

I found it challenging to do all the paragraphs.

Next time I could work on maybe doing a bit more paragraphs.
